About

Built by people who never really left the quiz room.

Memr.is is what happens when former quizzers grow up, get teams and kids of their own, and decide Scripture memory deserves better tools. Here's who we are, why it matters for your family and your church, and how close launch really is.

Our mission

Why we're building this

Help every quizzer hide God's Word in their heart, and keep it there for life.

If you grew up anywhere near Bible quizzing, you remember the tools: flashcards on a binder ring, photocopied question sets, a score sheet living in a folder somewhere in the back of the church van. We remember them too: some of us were the kids holding them. Quizzing shaped our faith with those tools. Imagine what it can do for your kids with better ones.

Memr.is brings study, review, practice, live matches, and team coordination into one place your quizzers actually want to open. Parents see real progress instead of guessing from the passenger seat. Coaches spend practice night coaching instead of shuffling paper. Pastors get a ministry that meets students where they already live (on their phones) without handing them over to the rest of the internet. Because the real win isn't what a student remembers on quiz day. It's what they're still carrying at thirty-five.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…
Deuteronomy 6:6–7 · KJV
  • Scripture Comes First

Every feature gets the same gut check before it ships: does this help a student know and keep the Word? Scripture is presented clearly, completely, and with the reverence it deserves. The app is the delivery system. It is never the main event.

  • Built with the community

We build around real seasons, real practice nights, and the actual rhythms of quizzers, parents, coaches, and churches. Memr.is supports WPF, UPCI, and other program materials while honoring each organization's official rules, resources, and leadership. Your program stays in charge, full stop.

  • Designed for Families

We're parents too, and we built the protections we'd want for our own kids: guardian consent, age-appropriate limits, private team spaces, and parent controls you can actually understand. Safety isn't a settings page tucked in a corner. It's the foundation the whole thing stands on.
