The program

Awana describes itself as a global child discipleship ministry that partners with local churches, and describes Bible Quizzing as a special-area event that reinforces understanding and Scripture memory.

    Awana was founded in 1950 in Chicago and says it has partnered with local churches for over 70 years, with its clubs built on the Belong, Believe, Become philosophy of child discipleship.

This is the high-level route described by the official Awana pages. Local churches and regional coordinators remain authoritative for every eligibility and format decision.

  1. Join through a local Awana club.

    Awana Clubs run in local churches; the official clubs page says Awana works for any church with a focus on discipling kids, and membership gives a church access to program benefits.

  2. Study handbook material through the club year.

    T&T clubbers work through their handbook and memorize and recite Bible verses to their Awana leaders week by week: the same material quizzing reinforces.

  3. Compete at a regional quizzing event.

    Churches and church networks host quizzing events and super rallies that bring clubs together. Ask your club's leaders for your region's event calendar and rulebook.

Memr.is supports Awana-oriented review planning, leader assignment, and verse practice. It is an independent tool for leaders and clubbers, not an official Awana system.
