What it is
Say your verse out loud and Memr.is grades every spoken word (missed, swapped, or added), so practice sounds like quiz day.
Recite aloud closes the gap between typing a verse and saying one. You quote the verse out loud, your browser or device's speech service turns it into a transcript, and Memr.is grades that transcript word-by-word, exactly like typed recall.
Here's why it hits: your inner voice is a generous editor. It smooths over the tiny slips you never notice practicing silently. But out loud, every missed, swapped, and added word shows up in the grade. If your tournament is spoken, this is the verse in its final form.
One thing to know up front, and it's on purpose: recite aloud isn't available on under-13 accounts, and it starts off for teen accounts until a verified parent or guardian turns it on. Once it's on, you're set.
